How to Use

DoodleSuits are designed to provide optimal protection and comfort for dogs during adverse weather conditions, particularly in snowy and muddy environments.

Before putting on a DoodleSuit, you will need to select the appropriate size for your dog. The suits are available in three sizes; choose the size appropriate for their weight. DoodleSuits can accommodate different medium to large breeds and various body types because they are designed with a relaxed fit to allow for maximum mobility.

To put on the DoodleSuit, follow these steps:

  • Familiarize them with the suit by allowing them to sniff it before attempting to put it on.
  • Pull the DoodleSuit over their head (like a turtleneck shirt), then guide each front leg through each sleeve; pull it down their back and guide each back leg through.
  • If you are also using booties, we recommend placing those on AFTER they are in the DoodleSuit
  • During the first wearing, make sure they have full mobility. Please know that sometimes they will walk awkwardly to start, then once they get used to how the fabric feels as they move, they should move naturally; and both male and female dogs will be able to ‘potty’ without problems.
  • After outdoor use, remove each of the back legs first, then each front leg, then pull the DoodleSuit over and off the head.
  • Simply hang to dry. *If the DoodleSuit gets muddy or otherwise dirty, it is best to rinse by hand, then hang to dry.
